Distilled at the Knockdhu distillery this Inver House owned brand was re-christened anCnoc to avoid confusion with Knockando. Having invested heavily into the distillery the owners also repackaged the product, with stunning results, while at the same time making the decision to bottle at 46% without chill filtration. Unsurprisingly this has led to a growing group of fans amongst well informed single malt drinkers.

The house style is light and delicate with a subtle complexity characterised by a sweet floral whisky, with fruit and vanilla notes and an underlying wisp of smoke. The sensible prices coupled with the fantastic quality make this well worth investigating.
