This is a beautiful whisky! The intensity is similar to some other Islay scotches, like Laphroaig or Ardbeg, but this one hits you with a hugely smoky taste, rather than that of peat or medicine. This was a bottling by IB's James Eadie for Royal Mile Whiskies. 15 years old and finished for 13 months in a refill amontillado sherry cask made of European oak.
