Founded in 1969 the Miyagikyo Distillery is a member of the Nikka stable and produces some delicious, feminine single malt whiskies. Unsurprisingly, given it’s ownership, as well as the single malt expressions Miyagikyo produce, their whisky is also a major component in the excellent Nikka blended whiskies.
The distillery has a capacity of 5,000,000 litres and produces 10, 12 and 15 year old standard expressions as well as an annual limited edition 20 year old expression.
