Glen Moray 16 Year Old

Not a particular fan of the Speysides I find them a little harsh for my tastes. But right from the deep gold color and may be a slight all spice noise. Maybe slightly sweeter than other Speysiders, definitely smoother, no lack of taste with a nice depth of oakyness that leave the drinker happily satified. Glen Moray is a nice place to visit.

The most amazing nose, with a full body and doesn't let you down on the palate. A truly wonderful offering from this distillery and unlike anything I've tasted from Glen Moray before.

Immediately, something about the box is striking. It looks classy enough; indeed, the golden crest nobly set amongst the dark blue background is reminiscent of those you see amongst Oxbridge colleges. No, what's striking is the lack of age upon either box or bottle. Is this worrying? Some would say so, but as an optimist I'm rather excited....
