This 50-year-old single malt represents GlenDronach's oldest ever release, matured in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks filled in 1971. Master Blender Rachel Barrie selected and married these exceptional casks to create this limited edition. The aroma opens with ripe dark cherry, plum and smouldering tobacco. On the palate, dense dark chocolate and cocoa provide the foundation, complemented by elegant plum and luxurious black cherry wrapped in velvet espresso notes. Bottled at 43.8% ABV, this Highland whisky demonstrates remarkable complexity and vibrancy despite five decades of maturation. Each hand-numbered decanter is presented in a leather case, making this an exceptional collector's piece.
