I've both heard and read very nice things about this expression from Glenfarclas.. however for me this one was all about the Sherry .... that's where it begun and that's where it ended.. if you fancy that a lot then you probably love it as much. Cask strength punch with the expected smoothness and balance of Glenfarclas. I find this dram much easier to tame down the alcohol with some water compared to Aberlour a'bunadh. Glenfarclas 10 Year Old

Sweet, floral, buttery, very smooth, rounded, and balanced. Obviously put together by someone with great taste and technique. It doesnt burn whatsoever, the smoothness and the lightness together with its complexity of flavours make for a real Gem. I highly rate this whisky.
