I'm a huge fan of Glenrothes, so when I was placing an order with Master of Malt Drinks by the Dram, I selected every sample of Glenrothes that they offered. This 15yr expression from Duthies is one of these samples. This 15yr is a very light colored malt, bottled at 46%. Nose: Quite spirity, with floral notes. Some butterscotch coming through....

This Glenrothes slept on a sherry butt for almost two decades. Possibly that was a first fill barrel, because the malt is almost the color of cola.
