I didn't have particularly high expectations for this. I picked it up in a supermarket in France for €37, thinking I couldn't go much wrong though, and it's actually a pretty decent dram. Whatever Knockando... several other distilleries can do better. A little bit sharp, a little bit sweet, but nothing special, but that's probably because I favour a dark peaty beast of a whisky, which this isn't.
