A bottling of Strathisla by Gordon & Macphail, the revered independent bottler. This Single Malt Scotch Whisky was aged in Scotland for 35 years in oak casks. The bottling strength of this whisky is 40% which is at the lower end of the scale for whiskies. Although these days many consumers are pushing for producers to bottle closer to 43% or 46% there are still some fine lower strength whiskies.
