Thanks Patrick. Deep rum gold pour, nano tears. Nose is mild, small orange peel, pretty fumey alcohol. Taste is a bit thinned out, spicy alcohol. Paper finish. No thanks.

Balvenie 12 Year Old DoubleWood

This or Talisker are my everyday whiskeys, not that I drink whisky everyday you understand ;) I like the hint of citrus on the nose which gives way to a pleasing sweetness. Round on the palate with a hint of vanilla oak and comfortingly warming. Just right for those after dinner moments by the fire.
