Macallan 15 Year Old Fine Oak

Nose: Fresh, wet grass, drizzle, morning dew, rose, pine, walnuts, orange peel, bitter chocolate, maple syrup, blue berries, honey, caramel. Palate: A sweet presentation right away like a nectar or rose water. Fades into slight smoke, very peppery initially but, mellows out. Tastes green, like a pine, I taste the sap, the needles, and the bark....

Macallan 25 Year Old Fine Oak

Stunning opening with great display of fresh fruit, red berries, clean sherry, toasty nuts and fine oak. Almost explodes into the mouth then takes luxuriant flow across the palate dropping wave upon wave of superb flavours. Barley sugar and vanilla are there in the great complexity yet with dignity and in a way very delicate. Wonderful whisky.
