The house of Bisquit Cognac was founded in 1819 by Alexandre Bisquit who later commanded a republican battalion which defended the July Monarchy in Paris in 1831.
King George IV and Winston Churchill are reputed to have been admirers of Bisquit cognac which enjoys a loyal following in Britain. The beautiful Chateau Bisquit was recently stunningly renovated by French designer Gilles Rosier.
