George T Stagg Whiskey

George T. Stagg is one of the flagship names in Buffalo Trace's annual Antique Collection, created in honour of the nineteenth-century whiskey merchant and distillery owner whose name was once carried by the site itself. It is a Kentucky straight bourbon released in limited quantities, bottled uncut and unfiltered, and recognized for a style of unusual scale and concentration.

This is bourbon in its most powerful form: full-bodied, deeply oaked and intensely flavoured, yet capable of remarkable balance when well crafted. Rich notes of dark caramel, spice, tobacco, black fruit and toasted oak are characteristic, with the high strength adding both weight and structure.
